Accurate setting out will save time and money for your project
I have set out on many projects while living in the London area for many of larger contractors. Since moving back to Cornwall from 2003 based from my home in Hayle, I have set out for clients varying in size from Galliford Try on a water treatment plant to developer sub contractors like Fred champions, Roadform. I set out for the Lidl store in Penzance, Aldi in Redruth. I am keen to work with the smaller developers and builders so I can offer my experience and support setting out and work in my local area of west Cornwall.

Computer Assisted Design is an essential part of the setting out process. Drawings can be taken from Designers/Architects and the essential information formatted on Cad then uploaded onto the controller.

The Controller at the base of the photo on the right is connected to the laptop to upload setting out lines and levels.
The total station in the background will lock onto the prism on top of the pole. Using the touch screen display on the controller measurements can be taken and setting out established on the ground using road pins, nails in concrete.
This robotic total station is a common site and widely used in practice by site engineers from setting out houses to large civil engineering schemes and has become essential kit for the site engineer for its efficiency.
